Moving Pictures!

This year, Stephanie and I received a video camera from Stephanie's parents for Christmas. We had absolutely no intention of video taping the birth of our son, but we did want to get footage of our first moments as a new family. We also wanted some footage of the grandparents meeting their first grandchild for the first time. Our early plans for the camera got blown up though because our young son was breech and was delivered via cesarean.

So, now that we have been parents for 3 months, we are now going to start using our video camera so that we can show off our son's cool moves. Currently, most of our video is of Kai laying on the floor playing with is gym. He is starting to do more all of the time though so this is a good time to get real familiar with the camera.

I have spent the past 3 plus hours trying to figure out how to cut down some raw footage that we shot (because it is funny!). The software that came with our camera is way too basic and the add on's that are included to edit the video puts the file to a format that is only supported by the camera software and can't be uploaded here (or to YouTube). Ugh!

You've seen MTV's "Cribs", where they tour the homes of celebrities. Here is the video of Kai's Crib.

I will post more videos when I find a decent video editing software. I am open to suggestions!!

But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. - Colossians 3:8
